Emerald Coast Open Restaurant Week - AJ's May 16th
AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar is gearing up for the area’s annual Emerald Coast Open Lionfish Tournament happening May 15–17! Head down to the docks at AJ’s this weekend to learn more about the invasive lionfish species, why they’re harmful to our local reefs, and how YOU can help protect our waters. As part of Emerald Coast Open Restaurant Week, we’ll also be featuring delicious lionfish on Saturday, May 16th as part of Restaurant Week— giving you a chance to taste one of the Gulf’s most unique and sustainable seafood options! The Emerald Coast Open Lionfish Tournament & Restaurant Week helps remove invasive lionfish from our reefs while local chefs transform them into incredible coastal dishes. Come support a great cause, enjoy fresh seafood, and learn some fun lionfish facts along the way!

About us
Since 1984, AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar has been serving cold Gulf Coast oysters and cool libations. What began as a popular local hang out known for fresh oysters and cold beer has grown into one of the most iconic “hot spots” on the Destin Harbor. From our humble beginning shucking oysters off the deck behind a small trailer on the Destin Harbor, we are proud to have grown to four locations along Florida’s Emerald Coast, serving the freshest seafood, best live music and most exciting water activities on the Emerald Coast.

This is the place to be during the day and at night. Went for dinner and enjoyed the service. After dinner we went upstairs to the bar.The waiters helped with popular menu items. Parking is free if you park in the lot near the bar entrance...

We love to on Sunday's and sit outside and enjoy the great views and fabulous food. We had lunch portion of the clam strips with fries and coleslaw the clam strips for nice and tender. And we had a huge bowl of fresh boiled Crawfish WOW...
